About Sambuca

I have been showing dogs since 1997, and have had Cirnechi since 2002. My first Cirneco was from Ann Arnfinn of Are But Not Cirnechi in Norway. Since then we have had a few litters, and imported dogs from France, Italy, Sicily and Finland.

I have had other breeds in the past, but Cirnechi are by far my favorite. We live a short drive from Knoxville and the dogs all have a large yards to run and play in.

At Sambuca we breed for temperament and type.
All of our breeding dogs have full coats, full dentition, and are within the breed height restriction.

The dogs have been shown IABCA here in the US, and our eldest was shown FCI in Germany. I am the breed liaison for AKC, and hope to have the breed in the miscellaneous group in the next few years, with movement into the Hound Group soon thereafter.

Puppies and young adults are occasionally available for pet and show. Refrences must be provided. All puppies stay here with us until they are at least 10 weeks, so they can have two Distemper combo vaccinations. Shipping can be arranged worldwide, but I prefer that you come to our home to pick up your new family member.
